Contested Territory events happen biweekly, generally landing on even weeks of even years or odd weeks of odd years. Contested Territory events last for 7 days, usually starting on Wednesday 10am NZST and ending on Wednesday 10am NZST. Players each have a limited number of tickets to claim new pieces of land, the ticket count refreshing over time up to a maximum of 4 tickets. The underlying goal in Contested Territory is for the player's team to gather as many points as possible, which can be obtained by claiming neighboring tiles within the contested territory map.
